Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced two new virtual technology sessions that will be presented during Digital ISH 2021, March 22-26.

The first session, Advanced Pumping Technology, will be streamed live through official ISH channels on March 24, 2:50 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. (CET). The second session, HVAC Pump and Pumping System Optimization, will be streamed live on March 25, 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. (CET). Both sessions will be presented by Andrew Harrop, A Global Director at Armstrong Fluid Technology specializing in system design.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced plans to relocate its West Midlands factory, warehouse and offices to larger premises in nearby Droitwich. The move will enable the company to continue expansion of its UK production capabilities, to meet growing worldwide demand for its off-site manufactured plant rooms and energy centres.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has named Simon Allan as global director, Standard Building Products, and a member of the company’s leadership board.

Allan joined Armstrong in 2018 with responsibility for the company’s UK and European wholesale strategy and the development of the circulator market in those markets. In mid-2019, he assumed the interim role of sales director, UK, and has led the team through a period of transformation and change including the 2020 corona virus business interruption.

An important district heating scheme in Sheffield, which generates heat and energy from waste wood, has come to fruition with the help of an integrated packaged pump solution from Armstrong Fluid Technology.

The pump solution incorporates six large Armstrong 4300 Series variable speed pumps with built-in inverters, integrated with Armstrong’s IPS 4000 pump controller, which optimises operation of all 6 pumps to minimise energy consumption.
