It may be that the health crisis expands the ways in which you use remote HVAC management systems like Pump Manager from Armstrong. If you’re not already connected, Armstrong has an easy ‘no-contact’ way to add the service and an offer to make things easier during a difficult time.

Under normal circumstances remote management of your assets is great for data collection and emergency alerts, but if you’re taking care of a building (or a few buildings) you might still like to take a walk and check things out first-hand. Make Sure Indoor Air is Healthy

Posted by Armstrong Fluid Technology on Mar 26, 2020 10:49:05 AM

In recent days we are all thinking more about our health and the health of the people around us. Many of us are staying home more, heeding the advice on social distancing.

If it’s possible to safely take a walk or bike ride outside and get some fresh air, we probably should. Even if you are not a heating, cooling and ventilation professional, you’ve probably heard that people in many climates spend up to 95% of their time indoors, with or without social distancing. We also take into our lungs about 40 lbs. of air each day. These two facts alone should make indoor air quality (IAQ) an important health consideration.

For equipment manufacturers, the top track would be, “D.R.E.A.M.,” and it would be an acronym for, “Data rules everything around me.”

As of January 27th, 2020, newly manufactured pumps are required to meet the new U.S. DOE/NRCAN 2020 Pump Efficiency Regulations standards. The primary objective of the new regulations is to reduce energy consumption.
