Armstrong announced at Greenbuild Expo 2017 that the company is sponsoring two internships as part of the US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Green Tech Legacy Program.

The Green Tech program is designed to create awareness of green building technologies in the early development of the trades in facilities management, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Armstrong will work with USGBC’s Massachusetts Chapter, this year’s Legacy recipient, to provide scholarships worth $7,000 to two deserving students from The Green Building Tech Club at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury, MA.

Armstrong recently exhibited at the 2017 Greenbuild Expo in Boston. Visitors to the Armstrong booth enjoyed using the virtual reality system to tour a packaged system installation.

The sustainable plumbing, HVAC and construction industry made its message known in the nation’s capital.
