An fully integrated packaged plant room for the HVAC of a new development in Glasgow has speeded the installation and reduced traffic at the busy city centre site.

The supplier – Armstrong Fluid Technology – played a key role in the delivery of the Connections project at 110 Queen Street, Glasgow with a fully integrated packaged plant room handling the HVAC system in the building.

Armstrong Fluid Technology announces the introduction of two new series of Horizontal End Suction Design Envelope (DE) Pumps featuring Sensorless integrated controls for greater energy savings.

Both the DE 4200H and DE 4280 Series include Armstrong Design Envelope technology, with easy-to-use Sensorless control and enhanced connectivity to BAS to achieve significant efficiency improvements. The DE 4200H pumps are supplied with split-couplings and outside balanced seals while the DE 4280 pumps use a close-coupled design.

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced new versions of the popular Astro 2 Hot Water Recirculation (HWR) pumps.  A hot water recirculation system can save a typical family over 12,000 gallons of water per year by eliminating the waste of water that occurs when occupants open a hot water faucet and have to wait for hot water to reach the fixture.

Astro 2 HWR circulators are suitable for use in a 3-pipe installation with a dedicated return. The Astro Express 2 System includes the innovative Astro Express LF Valve and is designed for use in a standard residential 2-pipe installation.

Rocking with Santa, an event to close the 15th annual toy drive in Ken-Ton, served the largest number of families in its history.
