Armstrong’s off-site construction division, Armstrong Integrated Systems based in Halesowen, and the HVAC equipment business headquartered in Manchester and Redhill will now operate as a single company, Armstrong Integrated Ltd, under a new legal framework.

Armstrong 55 kW drives for control range

Armstrong has extended its IVS range of sensorless control pumps to include models with variable speed drives up to 55 kW. Previously, the drives were only available up to 7.5 kW.
Armstrong is also launching a range of standalone inverters, the IVS102, to offer specifiers variable speed pumping up to 450 kW maximum power. These inverters which automatically calculate the building demand and adjust the speed of the drives accordingly.

When Carpetright decided to amalgamate its distribution sites into one large warehouse, it needed to become fire compliant with minimum site traffic and a low risk of project delays. An off-site manufacture approach by Armstrong provided the answer and enabled the project to run more smoothly with less contractors onsite.

Steve Cooper has been appointed managing director of Armstrong UK.
Cooper will be responsible for the Canadian pump company's UK operations, except the specialist high pressure industrial pump business which will continue to be directed by Tom Sykes.

Armstrong Limited has launched new pump sizes for its ranges of vertical in-line (VIL) and end suction pumps.
Armstrong now offers a 20x20x19 pump for the 4300 Vertical In-Line (VIL) Series, now the largest in the range.
