Canadian pump manufacturer SA Armstrong Ltd has appointed its first CEO in the company’s 77-year history.
In this new role at Armstrong, Alexander G van der Weerd will be responsible for the formulation and execution of the company’s global business strategy.
Most recently, van der Weerd served as president, Americas and executive board member of Belimo Holding AG, a manufacturer of electric damper actuators for HVAC systems. Van der Weerd also had an 18-year career at Carrier Corp.
