Armstrong announces savings guarantee on chiller plant systems

Armstrong Fluid Technology has launched its Savings Guarantee Program for its Chiller Plant Optimization Systems (IPC 11550 and Opti-VisorTM).

The essence of the offer is that Armstrong will guarantee the savings on its plant optimization programs for a period of one year following the commissioning. Should there be a shortfall in savings in the first year, Armstrong will reimburse the customer for three times the difference.

Armstrong develops chiller plant automation system service plan

Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced its Factory Service Plan for IPC chiller plant automation systems.

According to the company, as products have become increasingly intelligent incorporating embedded controls, the skillset required to provide proper service becomes less generic and more dependent on factory-trained resources. Key aspects of the Factory Service Plan include: inspection and review of key components, assessment of operation conditions, control system tuning, software upgrades as they are released, back-up and secure storage of parameters and settings, and annual training for the building operators.

Armstrong Fluid Technology chosen for pioneering Masdar eco-city

Armstrong Fluid Technology pumps and controls for chilled water systems have been installed in Masdar City, the ground-breaking sustainable city under construction in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Masdar City is being built by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company with additional funding from the Abu Dhabi government.  Designed by British architects Foster and Partners, it is an ambitious planned city which will rely entirely on renewable energy with a sustainable, zero-carbon, zero-waste ecology.  The aim is to create a world-famous hub for cleantech companies.  It will host the headquarters of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and its first tenant is the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
