“We felt we needed to try a different approach in getting our message and educational programs in front of engineers, building owners and contractors and explain to them in the clearest of terms what our Design Envelope Technology is all about,” Armstrong’s Mike O’Neil told Supply House Times in a video interview available at www.supplyht.com.
Armstrong’s Design Envelope Technology leverages demand-based control to its fullest, providing the exact heating or cooling load required at any given time.
O’Neil said response to the symposiums, which attract anywhere from 30-80 engineers at each stop according to Armstrong’s Rod Hightower, has been extremely positive.
“Face-to-face presentations and interaction are important,” he said. “The inquiries rise day by day. Customers would like us to do these more often.”
During a luncheon with members of the local media, Hightower touched on a number of new Armstrong initiatives including the company’s new Design Envelope compass circulators, the availability of Armstrong Revit files and the company’s new website at www.armstrongfluidtechnology.com.
