Toronto-headquartered pump manufacturer Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced two new sizes of its Design Envelope Compass R circulators: 40-85 and 60-50.
Designed to replace fixed-speed circulators by offering greater energy efficiency, the Compass R is a variable-speed dry-rotor circulator. It is suitable for applications requiring up to 60 ft of head.
New features include Posi-start technology for smooth startup and pump protection, a quick-release clamp for ease of repairs and optimized hydraulics with the high-efficiency dry rotor design. The Compass R is also ‘bolt-for-bolt’ compatible with a wide range of installed circulators
