Toronto—Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the availability of REVIT models for select Armstrong products on the The Autodesk® Seek web service. http://seek.autodesk.com/
Engineers and system designers needing BIM (Building
Information Modeling) models for Armstrong Design Envelope solutions will now be able to retrieve high quality REVIT models that conform to the latest standards outlined by Seek. These REVIT models can be converted and used interchangeably with any Autodesk software product such as Autodesk Revit® or AutoCAD® and other BIM software in the ifc format. The files also include parametric data that will help designers with calculations regarding product performance.
Reflecting on the availability of Armstrong Design Envelope solutions through this popular reference website, Brent Ross, Global Director of Configured Building Equipment commented, “This is a great step that we’re taking to better serve our customers. Engineers have been asking for REVIT files in this format for quite some time, and I’m pleased that Armstrong is now responding with high-quality drawings that will serve the engineering and design community.”
